Organized by the Town of Oak Ridge
Tickets for Explore Historic Oak Ridge – September 16, 12 – 7:30
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Oak Ridge Historic District and the 250th anniversary of the Old Mill of Guilford, the Oak Ridge Historic Preservation Commission has organized Explore Historic Oak Ridge, a first-ever event that will give attendees exclusive access to a number of the historic homes in Oak Ridge. Visitors can tour a variety of historic sites in the community, taking a peek inside to see some amazing homes and hear fascinating stories about their founders. And there’s fun for the whole family, with hay rides and plenty of music and food from local vendors.
You will need a ticket to enter most tour sites. You can choose from discounted advance purchase tickets (through September 15) and full-price tickets (available the day of the event).
Discounted advance purchases (through September 15): Adults - $10, Kids (ages 6 -16) $5. Children 5 and under are free.
Once you check out, you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase. You must have your purchase confirmation in order to pick up wristbands, which will serve as your entry tickets to Explore Historic Oak Ridge tour sites. There are two ways to pick up your wristbands: (1) Pick up at Oak Ridge Town Hall September 11 - 15, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m; and (2) Pick up at any of the three ticket tables (located near each of the three parking areas) on the day of the event.
